Designer Fabric Samples

It starts with the color board. Fabrics and furniture are chosen by an interior design, and Seebecks follows these color themes to choose complementary art and accents.

Lounge Banquette

Seebecks incorporated the fabrics from the curved banquette and the accent chairs (not pictured) and created an eclectic picture grouping utilizing the furniture color palette.

 

Exquisite Sitting Area

This absolutely exquisite sitting area has a bank of floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the clubhouse outdoor pool. The artwork was chosen to complement the furniture fabrics. The white frame was chosen to stand out on the dark wall.

First: Site Visit

Design Need:  The client had an original watercolor she wanted to incorporate into her dining room. The watercolor’s solid black background was going to complement the other black accents in the room. Vicki Seebeck visited the client’s dining room to assess everything in the room and the size of the wall where the artwork was going to be hung.

Next: Framing

Following Vicki’s recommendation, the client chose a black-and-gold frame to not only enhance the watercolor but also the space where it was going to be hung. The hint of gold in the framing pulled out the warm colors in the painting and also the gold accents in the dining room.

 

The Grand Finale

See the framed watercolor in place – what a statement it makes! The art unified the room’s furnishings and other pictures. Accents of gold and silver in the room blended wonderfully with the framed piece. The strong background color and dark frame create an architecture that balances the rest of the room. Due to the natural light in the room, museum glass was chosen. Even with an entire bank of windows there is barely a noticeable glare on the watercolor.

There’s no doubt that putting together a grouping of art is intimidating. With our picture arranging service, Vicki Seebeck comes to your home or office and helps lay out your grouping of art. Templates are created so you can visualize what the picture arrangement will look like. The templates give exact measurements in order to easily manage where nails should go for hanging each piece.
